Stretching the Features of Dark Mode, Android Q Claimed to be More Energy-Saving Up to 50%
After the success of the previous series namely Android P (Pie), one of the most popular operating systems in the world made by Google is now preparing for the launch of the next series of Android Q.
Although not yet known for certain, the name will be carried for the 10th series of Android Q, but the news circulating about the features that will be present in the Android OS Q is already rife on the internet.
One of them is, this Android Q operating system will come with a feature called dark mode. As the name implies, dark mode will allow users of devices running the Android OS to use smartphones at night without feeling glare because of the light produced.
This feature is claimed to be friendly to the human eye, because the light produced from the cellphone's LCD screen will not make the eyes glare so it does not interfere with the user's eye health.

Not only promises superiority in terms of lighting that is friendly to the user's eyes, the dark mode feature is also claimed to make the device more battery when active up to 50 percent.
The reason is that the reduced light emitted through the screen certainly affects how much battery capacity is used.
Launching from the PhoneArena page (3/2) which tested the Android Q OS on Google Pixel 3 smartphone devices, the testing they did was to set the screen brightness level at the middle level, then monitor the change in smartphone power consumption from the default to dark mode mode.
From the results of tests conducted by PhoneArena , it turns out that power usage for standard default applications can be reduced dramatically by up to 50 percent. Some of the default applications include contact lists, telephone, call history, settings, searching on Google and searching for search results.
While for party applications when, when the dark mode feature is activated it can make savings in the use of battery power as much as 20 percent.
Android Q will be equipped with Face ID and Default Screen Recording
Meanwhile, other testing results reported by 9to5Google as quoted from the GSM Arena page said, if this Android Q will be equipped with facial recognition features or Face ID and screen recording features or Screen Recording.
This face recognition system is likely to be similar to facial recognition capabilities on the iPhone XS which supports infrared cameras , dot projectors, and flood iluminators.
This setting menu for the face recognition system will later be similar to the finger print sensor system . Therefore the settings will be separated from the trusted face feature that exists today.
Android Q is also equipped with a new Emergency feature option that can be accessed by pressing the Power button. The option to call this emergency number for example 911 will appear along with the power off, restart, and creenshot options.
Other reports also mention that Android Q will also support 5G and WPA3 Wi-Fi, as well as the Privacy Sensor feature that allows users to turn off access for a number of sensors.
Google's own party reportedly will introduce the operating system for the 10th series of Android Q during the upcoming I / O conference in May 2019.
