Just a week after release, Apex Legends has won 25 million players

Even a week since it was first launched for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One, and PC platforms, the game made by Respawn Entertainment developer titled Apex Legends, recorded extraordinary history in theworld gaming industry.

The game that carries the genre of the battle royale, has just reached 25 million registered players in just one week since Apex Legends was released to the market.

This extraordinary achievement shows if this game is so interested and becomes very popular in a short time.

In fact, before Apex Legends had also succeeded in passing the number of 10 million players in just three days since the release.

Good news for the extraordinary achievement of Apex Legends, revealed by Respawn CEO, Vince Zampella, as quoted from his official Twitter account, on Tuesday (02/12/2019).

In his statement Vince also mentioned that there were more than 2 million gamers who played Apex Legends simultaneously over the weekend.

Thanks to this extraordinary success, many people then compared Apex Legends with several games with similar genres such as Fornite and PUBG.

With this achievement, Apex Legends indeed grows much faster and only requires a fairly short span of time.

As is known, Epic Games' Fornite game had revealed a public report that said there were 45 million players on consoles and PCs listed, but it took up to four months since the game first launched on the market.

In the last report released last November 2018, Fornite has played more than 200 million players. However, this number is the total number of Fortnite game players including the iOS and Android platforms and cross-platform features offered by the developer.

Seeing the fact, that Apex Legends can reach quite a lot of players in a fairly short amount of time it is not impossible that the game made by Respawn Entertainment will repeat the success of both of its competitors and not even overtake them and become the most played game.
