Debuting as an independent brand, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 7 in China with prices starting at USD 141.

Xiaomi finally officially released Redmi as an independent brand. On its debut as an independent brand, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 7 in China. Unlike its predecessor, the Redmi Note 7 comes with a glass body that has a premium appearance.

The display problem, the Redmi Note 7 adopts a 6.3-inch relief screen with a waterdrop type notch . Having full HD + resolution, this smartphone appears with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. It looks more premium with a thin bezel, which is only 1.95mm.


Besides appearing premium, redmi Note 7 is a smartphone first redmi dust and water resistant. However, the company did not confirm the smartphone's IP certification , in order to prove the toughness feature. To support this feature, the Redmi Note 7 buttons and ports have been specifically designed to be waterproof.

AnTuTu's benchmark score beats the Oppo smartphone . Redmi even claims this phone will beat Honor 8X supported by Kirin 710.

This smartphone based on Android 9 Pie also provides a special microSD slot to expand storage capacity. Another specification of the Redmi Note 7 is a 4,000 mAh battery featuring fast charging 4.0. Through the USB-C port, the Redmi Note 7 battery is fully charged around 2 hours 5 minutes.

The camera specifications, the Redmi Note 7 armed with a 48MP resolution dual camera (f / 1.8) and 5MP, supported by artificial intelligence. Redmi uses the Ultra Clear Samsung ISOCELL sensor as its main sensor. The company claims the Samsung lens is capable of capturing captivating photos even in low light conditions.

While the front camera has a 13MP sensor. The front camera has a number of features such as AI Smart Beauty and AI face unlock . The Redmi Note 7 also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack to help users enjoy music. Not to forget, this smartphone is accompanied by infrared to allow it to be a  remote control .

Inaugurated in China, this smartphone with a fingerprint scanner comes in three variants. The 3GB / 32GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 999 (USD 141), 4GB / 64GB RAM for CNY 1,199 (USD 177), and 6GB / 64GB of CNY 1,399 RAM (USD 205).
