Huawei Ensures Releasing a 5G Foldable Screen Phone Huawei Mate X July 2019
After officially being introduced to the public in February at the 2019 Mobile World Congress (MWC) event that took place in Barcelona Spain, the first folding cellphone made by Chinese smartphone vendor Huawei, which they named Huawei Mate X, is certain to be released soon in July 2019.
In his statement, Huawei only mentions, if the delay of the release of mobile phones is predicted to be a heavy rival Samsung Galaxy Fold until the middle of this year due to waiting for 5G network readiness.
Huawei also announced a 5G network roadmap expected to be ready in the upcoming July 2019. In its presentation, Huawei said that their folding screen Huawei Mate X will also be released in the same month, so that it will coincide with 5G network readiness.
Nevertheless, the company still cannot ascertain exactly when the release date of the Huawei Mate X folding screen smartphone.
This folding screen phone made by Huawei has a screen with a diagonal size of 8 inches when stretched. When folded, the faucet will shrink and change to a dimension of 6.6 inches when folded (outward).
As information, this folding screen phone will be powered by the toughest chipset made by Huawei, the Kirin 980, with the support of a 5G Balong 5000 modem that supports sub-6GHz and mmWave frequencies for 5G connectivity, along with 4G, 3G and 2G network technology (multi mode).
Equipped with three cameras, each with a resolution of 40 megapixels, 16 megapixel ultra wide, and 8 megapixel telephoto, according to the plan the company will sell Huawei Mate X with a price tag of 2,299 Euros.
The price is quite a fantasy that can only be reached by certain groups.
Launching from the Phone Radar page , in addition to Huawei Mate X which will be released in July, Huawei is also reported to be releasing another variant that also carries the 5G network connectivity at least by the end of this year.
Information circulating mentions if one of the variants of their 5G smartphone to be released is the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G which was also officially introduced at the last MWC 2019 event.
Meanwhile, several other variants of cellphones that might also carry the 5G network are the Huawei Mate 30 and the Nova series.
Until now, the company still has not provided information on which countries will be targeted by Huawei Mate X. While for the homeland market, the possibility is not the main target of marketing considering the 5G network is not ready for the territory of Indonesia, although this phone can be operated in the LTE network.
